Click, clack, click, clack! Wheeee! Awww, I'm going to hurl!

It has been a week full of rollercoasters of emotions, illness, and some fun thrown in, too.

SONday - Our church started a wonderful music revival of sorts. We had a wonderful couple the Ives come in that played 18 instruments in between them from guitar, piano, flutes, xylophone, harmonica, and the harp which is one of my favorite one to hear. They came SONday through Wednesday and played several songs for each service. Bro. Ives preached on the importance of godly music. If you would like to know more about it, check out this wonderful link - Biblical Guidelines to Christian Music

Monday - I thought I was going to lose it. We've had several leave the church and it has been really discouraging. Being human you are curious as to why, but I know that if we really needed to know that God would show us. Well, I found out one of my friends was leaving. I was so heartbroken. Although we will still be friends, it just hurts to know they won't be with us. My son then really hurt my feelings Monday night when I told him something and he made me feel like dirt. Dh talked to him and he apologized profusely.

Tuesday- was a much better day. Got several things done around the house. We then went to lunch at Applebees with none other than Amy from Finer Things in Life's and her beautiful family. Her children are absolutely adorable! It was great to finally meet her in person. She lives a little over an hour away, but we haven't been able to meet up until Tuesday. Her and her husband were great to talk to and I was so thankful when he blessed the food and even asked prayers for my husband. Great to meet you and your family, Amy!! :D

Wednesday - uh, oh! Here we go. I woke up with a horrible headache which stemmed from my upper back and neck. Ugh! I ate, took some meds and went back to bed. Later got up and Jeffrey made me lunch and gave me some shoulder rubs. He is my little masseuse. :D Kaycee was sweet to help with laundry. I went back to bed until 2. Got up and felt even worse now my stomach was rolling. I thought I was going to toss cookies but thankfully I didn't. At about 4, I was feeling completely fine. I was thankful for all who prayed for me. :D

Thursday - My children helped tremendously in grocery shopping. I try to point out what are the best deals between our commissary and Aldi. Then I got to have some time to get a haircut. Oh, how I wish that I could have my hair shampooed all the time. :D It has been 3 months, so long overdue!

Friday - Today is my daughter's 14th birthday!! She is such a blessing to have as a daughter! She is growing more and more into a beautiful young lady. Happy birthday, Kaycee! I love you!

What finer things are you celebrating this week? C'mon and share them with Amy for Finer Things Friday!

That's so neat that you were able to meet up with a blogging friend. Seems like everyone is doing that this summer!!

I'm sorry to hear about people leaving your church. That is painful.

I'm glad you had fun out with your friend.

I've had two phone calls since I started reading, so I've forgotten a lot of what you said ... lol. I just can't multi-task.

Take care!
